Church Relations

Purpose of Church and Community Relations

• Develop and maintain relationships with churches and schools.
• Help Concordia University to be more visible in the Christian community at large.
• Assist in recruiting students from Lutheran and other Christian schools as well as churches.
• Raise scholarship support for students pursuing careers in full-time church work professions.
• Promote and nurture Christian leadership development.

Church and Community Relations Services

• Coordinate visits of Concordia's student music and theatre ministry teams. View the Performing Arts Outreach Calendar.
• Assist faculty with speaking and preaching engagements at churches.
• Church Relations staff are available to churches for Bible studies, guest preaching, and pulpit replacements.
