Experience

From 2013-2022, Edward Willett was the Vice President, Partnerships for Topgolf. In that role, he worked with major corporations on securing partnerships for the rapidly growing Topgolf company. Topgolf is an innovative sports and entertainment company that has transformed the growth of the golf industry. Willett held an executive position, overseeing all aspects of partnerships, including in-venue and digital screens within Topgolf venues. He also worked on innovative in-venue partnership opportunities.

From 2011 to 2013, Willett served as the VP Business Development for the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association), where he was instrumental in expanding strategic sponsorships.

From 2000 to 2009, Willett held senior sales positions at ESPN involved with the expansion of the ESPN.com digital properties. He worked on the initial integration of representing all ESPN properties in the marketplace. He worked in an executive role in representing television, digital, and print properties to advertisers and sponsors.

Following Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Denver, Willett has had an extensive career in media sales, including Conde Nast Glamour, Time Sports Illustrated and Gannet USA Today.

Over 30 Years of professional experience in the sports industry. Worked for Sports Illustrated, USA TODAY, ESPN, LPGA, Topgolf and several sports startups.
