Housing Accommodations
DAS collaborates with RES and Bon Appetit to provide reasonable housing and dining accommodations to residents with a disability.
Deadlines: Returning students should complete and submit the following paperwork by March 15th for the upcoming academic year (fall/spring semester); new students should submit paperwork by May 1st for the upcoming academic year. The University may not be able to accommodate requests received after these deadlines.
Timeline: Once a student has completed the process, a committee will be assigned to review and assess the student’s request. Students will be notified within 3 weeks of whether their request has been approved or denied. For students requesting ESAs, please begin the process 60 days prior to the start of a semester, and do not bring the animal into campus housing before you are approved for accommodation. For students bringing Service Animals into residence halls, please begin the process at least two (2) weeks prior to moving into the dorms.
